      If you have every flown on a commercial flight, think about what flight attendants always tell you before a plane takes off. In case of an emergency, an oxygen mask will drop down. Put your mask on first before assisting your children and others. 

What do you think when you hear the instruction, “put your oxygen mask on first before helping others”? What happens if you can’t breathe and are still trying to help others? For one thing, you become inadequate at it. Once you are further oxygen-deprived, you become more harmful than helpful.
